Our Exceptional Clients
Pentanet – ‘The Pentahouse’
Pentanet wanted to create a technological hub within the city. On their behalf, we viewed competing conceptual designs and provided our expert opinion on both the functionality and the overall design. Through this process we were also introduced to a real estate agent, and we were later able to increase Pentanet’s lease negotiations from $500K to $1m cash and $500k in rent abatement. Due to Covid the project was unable to proceed in its entirety and that’s how the PentaHouse was born.
The PentaHouse project was completed as a “Design and Construct.” We were engaged as the builder and then we engaged the designers to work on our behalf to complete the project. The PentaHouse is now a vibrant technological hub that serves as a beacon for Perth’s internet, technology, and gaming communities.
- Value engineering due to increased material costs.
- Turned the conceptual drawings into IFC’s (issued for construction) drawings with the use of mechanical, ADA, and compliance consultants.
- Created a custom kitchen, custom booth seating and display tables, custom tables, and flooring.
- Painting and furnishing the building.
- Upgraded the electrical and put in custom ventilation specifically for a yakiniku table.
- Conducted floor scans to see if we were able to move storm water drains.
- Liaise with various parties including the two next-door buildings, land surveyors and council in order to get the digital screens approved.
- Engaging with structural engineers, a steel company, and other professionals to create and install the frames and digital screens.
- Negotiating for the balustrade to be installed.
Pentanet HQ
We coordinated the relocation of Pentanet’s corporate operations from Balcatta to their new headquarters at 45 St. Georges Terrace, Perth.
Preparation of the level was completed in a week, and we moved staff computers and personal belongings over the weekend to ensure that the company required no down time.
Staff were welcomed to the new location on the Monday morning with their individual desk spaces already set up and ready to go!
- Hung pictures, custom basketball jerseys, and a custom stargate model from the ceiling.
- Co-ordinated signage, changed light fixtures, and supplied and placed 150 pot plants.
- Installed a coffee machine, including electrical outlet changes, and we procured and installed both a slushy machine and a kegerator.
- Manufactured and installed 5 different custom ceiling TV screen mounts, a foosball table and a ping pong table.
- Collected and delivered furniture, computers, and personal belongings to the new location.
- Saved our client time and money by coordinating the project in a way that didn’t require that the company shut down for the move.

- Cladding the walls and assisting with additional tasks.
Pentanet Warehouse Refurbishment
This project involved updating our client’s warehouse and organising their empty office spaces.
By repurposing this area we were able to prevent our client from losing money due to unusable space. We also placed their resources in storage to ensure their equipment and furniture was maintained.
- Stacked the desks, draws and chairs and placed the office furniture in storage.
- Laid new epoxy flooring.
- Built new ventilation and storage systems in the warehouse.
- Built a new wall and put cladding on it.
- Provided a new custom ventilation system for the cooling down of hot equipment.
Target Escalator
Target needed to replace their old escalator – whilst remaining open to the public for trading.
We successfully completed this project by implementing night shifts and having Hay Street Mall shut down while the old elevator was replaced with the new one in the middle of the night.
- Replacing an old elevator with a new one without disrupting trading and negatively affecting shoppers with noise.
Pentanet Relocation #2
We successfully moved Pentanet back to Balcatta when their 1-year lease was up in St George’s Terrace. We were once again able to prevent any down time by moving everything over the weekend. There was a tighter timeframe for this project, and we only had 3 days to ensure everything was back to its original condition. However we were able to deliver everything on time and to budget.
- Removed all hanging structures.
- Replaced the light fittings.
- Removed all signage.
- Patched and painted the walls.
Marlock
This project involved us helping a young family transform a fixer-upper they had purchased into the house of their dreams.
We were able to create a modern layout that still honoured the heritage of the property and we fulfilled the parents’ vision for being able to watch their children play while they cooked together.
- We knocked down an internal structural wall to create a large open plan layout for the kitchen/living area.
- We almost tripled the size of their kitchen and we were able to add in an island bench with shaker panels and custom crown moulding which suited the heritage of the house.
- The changes resulted in an increased property value for our clients.
- We greatly increased the functional space available.
Carlisle Home Renovation
We successfully reconfigured a 1970’s house into a modern and welcoming home for our clients.
A new entrance to the home, a custom kitchen, a bigger bathroom, and tasteful tiles all contributed to making this our clients’ dream home.
- Bricked up two windows and the old entrance to the property and built a new entrance at the front of the house.
- Allowed for open plan living by removing internal walls.
- Created a new laundry with extra storage space and installed two wall-to-wall wardrobes with custom soft close cabinetry.
- Built a new driveway and decking out the front.
- Demolished the old vinyl flooring and replaced it with tiles.
- Reconfigured the layout of the bathroom and toilet to allow for a luxurious walk-in shower with a wall cutout shelf.

- A quick turnaround on the cabinetry so as not to delay their grand opening.
